The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety within the Construction Environment (also known as the One Day Health & Safety Course For CSCS Card) is designed for anyone seeking to work in the construction industry.
If you complete the course successfully, you’ll have the qualifications you need to apply for a CSCS labourer card. During the course, you’ll learn about common construction hazards, including manual handling, working at height, and working around plant and machinery. This course will help you stay safe and work safely on construction sites.
I want to make it clear that to qualify for the Green Labourer Card, you must pass the CITB Health Safety Environment Test and the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification within two years.

Complete the Level-1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment course.

Pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Operatives exam which is booked separately (touch screen test in centre close to you)

Once you have passed both the course and exam, you can then apply for your CSCS Green Labour card. The CITB Health, Safety & Environment exam and cost for the CSCS Green Card application fee is not included in the course price.
