1. Learner Expectations
As a learner at Train In Health & Safety, you are expected to:
- Commit to Your Studies:
- Dedicate sufficient time and effort to attend all scheduled classes, complete assignments, and prepare for assessments.
- Engage actively in all learning activities, including participation in discussions, group work, and practical sessions.
- Adhere to Course Requirements:
- Follow the course schedule and meet all deadlines for assignments and projects.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Learner Handbook, including attendance, academic integrity, and code of conduct.
- Communicate Effectively:
- Maintain open communication with your Learning Advisor and instructors, promptly informing them of any issues that may affect your progress.
- Seek help or clarification whenever needed to ensure a clear understanding of course material.
- Monitor Your Progress:
- Regularly review your learning progress and performance, using feedback from assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Take proactive steps to address any challenges you encounter during your studies.
- Respect Learning Environment:
- Contribute to a positive and respectful learning environment, treating peers, instructors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy.

How to Raise a Concern or Complaint
Train in Health and Safety is committed to ensuring every learner has a positive experience. If you have a concern or complaint, you have several easy ways to reach out:
- Speak to your tutor: Raise your issue informally after your session for immediate support and action.
- Call us: Contact our helpline on +44 7868 033566 (Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM). Voicemails can be left outside these hours.
- Email: Send your concern to sam@trainhealthsafety.com with relevant details. We aim to respond within 3 working days.
- WhatsApp: Message +44 7868 033566 for a quick reply on urgent matters.
- Arrange a meeting: Book a video or in-person appointment with an administrator for more complex issues.
All feedback is documented and reviewed carefully. We are committed to providing timely, fair, and effective resolutions in line with our Complaints Policy. Your voice helps shape and improve our services.

2. Learning Partner (Train In Health & Safety) Expectations
As your Learning Partner, Train In Health & Safety is committed to:
- Providing Quality Education:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and resources that meet NEBOSH standards, ensuring you have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Ensure that all learning materials are up-to-date, accurate, and relevant to the course objectives.
- Assigning a Dedicated Learning Advisor:
- Assign a Learning Advisor to each learner who will provide personalized guidance and support throughout the course.
- Regularly check in with learners to monitor progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Encouraging Commitment:
- Implement mechanisms to motivate and encourage learners to stay committed to their studies, including reminders, motivational workshops, and progress tracking tools.
- Provide resources and support to help learners overcome obstacles and maintain steady progress.
- Actively Monitoring Progress:
- Actively monitor learner progress through regular assessments, attendance tracking, and Learning Advisor reports.
- Identify learners who may be struggling and offer additional support or interventions as needed to ensure their success.
- Ensuring Clear Communication:
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with learners regarding course expectations, assessment criteria, and any changes to the schedule or course content.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments to help learners improve.
