Constructionline accreditation is an online register of pre-qualified contractors and consultants used by thousands of buyers in the UK construction industry.
It can actually help you win more contracts, especially from large contractors who prefer (or require) suppliers to be verified. Being on it gives you a better chance of winning work, especially from big firms that don’t want to go through lengthy checks every time.
ConstructionLine offers several membership tiers, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum membership level. Most of my clients aim for Silver or Gold, depending on their goals and buyer expectations.
If you’re looking for help with ConstructionLine, this guide will walk you through the steps and show you exactly how I can help you Constructionline accredited, because that’s exactly what I do for my clients every day.
How to apply for Constructionline accreditation

Register online
The first step on how to apply for Constructionline accreditation is to start by signing up on the Constructionline website. This gets you set up as an Associate member.
Choose membership level
Based on your business needs and the requirements of your potential clients, select the appropriate membership level.
Many clients require at least the Silver level. Gold memberships are most attractive to larger buyers looking for fully vetted suppliers.
Decide which level (Silver, Gold, or higher) suits your business. If you’re not sure, I offer a free assessment to help you figure that out. Just ring me on +44(0)20 8059 3633 or email info@traininhealthandsafety.com.
Fill out the application form and complete the PQQ
The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is detailed. See and download the full, detailed application checklist. You’ll be asked for your:
- Registered business address and contact details
- Type of company (Ltd, sole trader, partnership, etc.)
- Business activities and sectors
- Company registration documents (like your Certificate of Incorporation)
- Health & safety policies
- Financial stability
- Insurance
- Equality and diversity
- Environmental impact
Submit your Documents

You’ll also need to upload documents like:
- Health & safety policy (signed and up to date)
- Financial information (accounts, VAT certificate if applicable)
- Insurance documents (employers/public liability)
- Training records or CVs
- VAT certificate (if you’re registered)
- Trade references
- Equality and environmental policies (especially for Gold level)
If you already have a valid SSIP like CHAS or SafeContractor certificate, that can cover some sections so it helps to sort those first. Some clients use their CHAS certificate to meet the health and safety part of the application—that’s perfectly acceptable. In fact, I often recommend getting CHAS first. It can make the ConstructionLine process much easier.
Pay the Membership Fee
ConstructionLine charges a fee based on your company’s turnover and the level of accreditation. For example, Gold membership for a small business can start from around £549, depending on the turnover of your company.
I want to make it clear that this is just ConstructionLine’s fee. If I’m helping you apply, my service fee is separate. I charge a flat rate for help, which includes application support, document templates, and follow-up help. No hidden charges.
Wait for verification
Once submitted, Constructionline reviews everything. If they need more documents or clarification, they’ll let you know.
Once verified, your company will be listed on the Constructionline database, making you visible to potential buyers.
The Cost of Constructionline Accreditation
There are two costs to consider, the first being constructionline fees.
These vary depending on your turnover and chosen membership level. You pay these directly to Constructionline.
The second is the support fee. If you choose to work with me, I charge a set fee for reviewing and assembling your information, filling out your application, and guiding you through to final submission. There are no hidden extras—just a clear plan, from start to finish.

THS Constructionline Accreditation & Application Service

Applying and getting your Constructionline approved can be long and stressful. I’ve seen businesses stuck for months just because one document was missing or out of date.
That’s why I offer a ConstructionLine Accreditation & Application Help package. I offer free initial assessment of your business to see what level suits your business and a gap analysis to find out what’s missing from your current policies or processes and will also go through the templates for documents you may not already have.
I will offer you a one-on-one support with your documents and PQQ, templates to save you time, full application management—I handle everything, fast-tracking your submission where possible and ongoing support after you’re accredited, in case requirements change or your policies need updates.
Some people get overwhelmed when they see how many sections the application has—especially around policies or financials. I take that stress away.
