However, if you’ve held a CSCS card before, there’s an extra step for you. Before starting a new application, claim your previous card(s) first.
Step 2: Go to the ‘My Profile’ screen
Once logged in successfully, navigate to the ‘My Profile’ screen where most of the action happens.
- Once logged in, look for an option called ‘Apply for a Card’. Click on it.
- Confirm whether or not you passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test within the last 2 years.

Step 3: Select Your Occupation & Qualifications
Next up is choosing your occupation and qualification. This involves completing an NVQ or SVQ related to your chosen field. Just be sure of the certifications related to your experience and type of card.
At this stage having copies of documents such as qualification certificates or proof that you are registered for one at hand would be beneficial.
